Santa Claus is Coming to Easy Street
Monday, December 14th, 2009Santa Claus will arrive Friday, December 18th to visit with all the good girls and boys in the Easy Street Bakery from 4-7 p.m.
See Santa in his “workshop”, sit on his lap, and tell him your Christmas wishes. Photos will be taken by our photographer and emailed out to your parents.
After each visit, the children can decorate Christmas cookies in The Sky Lodge.
Dine in Easy Street Brasserie or Bar Boheme and enjoy half price entrees as we unveil our new winter menu. Walk the Gallery Stroll 6-9 pm, or attend Opening Night of “A Christmas Carol” at The Egyptian Theatre.
It’s a great night to spend on Main.
Naughty Santa Party

If your name was not entered on the “Nice” list, we have a party for you. All the Naughty ones are invited to come to The Bar Boheme on Saturday, December 19th betweeen 7-11 pm dressed as either Santa, Mrs C., or a Santa Helper to enjoy the holiday revelery.
There’s going to be a “Ho Ho Ho” Lot of Santas in here.
The Bar Boheme is located in the lower level of Easy Street Brasserie and accessed either through Easy Street at 201 Heber Ave or from the Easy Street Plaza off Main Street.

Only on a blue moon (yes a real blue moon) could a family of musical geniuses come together on the Eccles Stage to ring in the New Year. It will be an extravagant affair as the Wainwrights usher in 2010 with spectacular, musical flourish. The patriarch, Loudon Wainwright III (known as the “New Dylan” since his 1970 debut) masterfully blends folk, country, and rock with storytelling and humor. His dazzling showman-of-a son, Rufus Wainwright, has been affectionately referred to by Elton John as “the greatest songwriter on the planet” and praised by The New York Times for his “genuine originality.” Wainwright has established himself as one of the great male vocalists and songwriters of his generation. And last but certainly not least, the sweet-voiced daughter, Lucy Wainwright Roche, adds her own, endearingly simple, folk-meets-pop style to the mix with a sound NPR describes as “sincere and raw, at times, recalling Joni Mitchell and Patti Griffin.” Bid 2009 farewell, and come celebrate 2010 with the exceptional music of these phenomenal singer-songwriters. Torchlight Parade
