Leave the kitchen behind and make your Thanksgiving plans with the Park City Area Restaurant Association. More than a dozen local restaurants and caterers are offering a host of delicious specials, meals and more, sure to make a perfect, stress-free special occasion whether you eat-in or dine-out. We have the best chefs in the world here in Park City – sit back, relax, and let them do all the work this Thanksgiving. And then, of course, dig in!

Between formal multi-course dinners, casual buffets, or catered fare, you’ll find the dinner that’s right for you, your family and your friends. Read on for a rundown of the meals and other items being offered this Thanksgiving, which this year falls on Nov. 23:

3-course prix fixe: $49 per person

Celebrate Thanksgiving in mountain comfort at The Brass Tag, which is serving a classic three-course Thanksgiving for two. Start with a choice of clam chowder with hickory smoked tasso and chive oil, or kale and romaine Caesar salad. Then enjoy an entrée of maple glazed brick oven roasted turkey topped with sweet potatoes, apricot and pecan stuffing and cranberry sauce; oven roasted prime rib with horseradish gratin potatoes, bourbon glazed carrots, asparagus, and green peppercorn au jus; or house-made sage ricotta ravioli with roasted butternut cream sauce and toasted pine nuts. For dessert enjoy pumpkin tart with assorted berries and house-made ice cream or apple cheddar pie with house-made vanilla ice cream. A la carte options are also available

2-course prix fixe: $35 for adults, $18 for children
2-11 p.m.

This popular steakhouse will be serving a 2-course, Thanksgiving Full Platter meal, with each guest getting a full plate of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, garlic green beans and candied yams. Dessert features a choice of pumpkin pie or pecan pie. Chop House’s regular menu will also be available. (Note: 2-for-1 specials will not be on offer.

Dinner to go: $250 serving 6-8 people
Orders required at least 72 hours in advance

Skip the cooking entirely and bring home a delicious Thanksgiving meal to go courtesy of Buzz Coffee & Tea at Montage. Enjoy herb-roasted turkey served with andouille sausage and cornbread stuffing, buttermilk and Boursin cheese mashed potatoes, and preserved lemon and garlic broccolini, plus citrus-cranberry sauce, house-made brown gravy and stone ground artisan rolls. For desert, choose from caramel apple pie, oat crumble or traditional pumpkin pie.

You focus on friends and family and leave the rest to the Deer Valley Grocery Café. This local favorite is offering delicious sides like celery root bisque soup, Deer Valley roasted garlic mashers, spinach salad, roasted butternut squash, green beans au gratin, and sourdough apple and yam stuffing, which will make perfect compliments to your turkey, ham or other entrée being served at home. Breads and pies and cakes are also on offer, including traditional pumpkin, apple cheddar, pecan, apple, blueberry, cherry and chocolate silk pies. Caramel apple cheesecake, pumpkin Swiss roll with Deer Valley cream cheese, and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies are also available. And if you’re celebrating Thanksgiving as a guest, these all make great housewarming items, too.

Bring your friends and family to Escala for a classic prix fixe dinner served family-style. Enjoy a first course of mixed greens salad, pickled beet and citrus salad, and roasted pumpkin and pear soup, followed by smoked maple-brined turkey with roasted apple and bacon stuffing and black pepper gravy, pan seared salmon with roasted asparagus and pomegranate seeds, and roasted yams, wild rice and buttermilk mashed potatoes. Assorted pies and cakes round out the evening for dessert.

3-course prix fixe: $24.95

Dig into a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the staples in this 3-course prix fixe. Enjoy butternut squash soup, followed by roasted tom turkey with giblet gravy, house-made stuffing, cranberries, candied yams and green beans almondine. Dessert is a classic: warm pumpkin pie with ice cream.


Family-style dinner: $55 for adults and $25 for children
Pick-up orders: $45/person
11 a.m.-4 p.m.

This Thanksgiving feast is served family style and features all the classics. Start with butternut apple bisque, followed by Mary’s organic turkey served with whipped Yukon potatoes, candied yams, green bean casserole, mushroom farmhouse stuffing, cranberry preserves and Parker House rolls. For dessert, dig into pumpkin pie, Utah apple crumble, and carrot cake cupcakes. Reservations of up to 10 people are available. Pick-up orders are also on offer, but must be ordered by Thursday, Nov. 16, by calling 435-647-5566.

Buffet: $85 for adults, $45 for children 5-12
1-7 p.m., live music 2-6 p.m.

Join St. Regis for an exquisite Thanksgiving buffet overflowing with seasonal delicacies and traditional favorites. The dinner menu includes more than a dozen selections, featuring mains of Mary’s free range organic turkey, bourbon and mustard glazed spiral cut ham, rosemary and olive oil crusted leg of lamb, and sides like sweet potato and bacon pie, caramelized heirloom carrots with orange vinaigrette, roasted cauliflower soup with bacon and curry oil, mashed potatoes, and a selection of salads, cheeses, vegetables, stuffing and gravy. Be sure to leave room for dessert, which includes nearly 20 selections like egg not crème brulee, blackberry pate de fruits, pumpkin mousse bombes and more. Reservations required, call 435-940-5760.

If buffets and prix fixe dinners aren’t your style, Versante at Park City peaks is serving classic Thanksgiving selections for the holiday. Enjoy starters of roasted root vegetable bisque or holiday salad, then choose from roast turkey breast, slow roasted prime rib, grilled salmon, brined pork chop and brown butter gnocchi. Sides can be served family style or per person, and include cornbread stuffing, roasted baby potato, mashed potato, French toast sweet potato, creamed Brussels sprouts, sautéed haricot vert, roasted cauliflower and butternut squash risotto. For dessert, enjoy warm pumpkin donut holes, chocolate flourless torte or roasted caramel apple.
