“Little Chefs” Culinary Series: Cupcake Decorating 101

Calling all young bakers! Join Deer Valley’s experts for a fun, hands-on class where kids will learn the basics of decorating cupcakes and take home a sweet treat they made themselves. Bakers will teach piping, writing, and decorative frosting techniques, helping kids build creative kitchen skills and confidence. Each participant will also customize their own cupcake box to bring home a Deer Valley apron, chef hat and six beautifully decorated cupcakes.

Bastille Day Party at Le Depot

Celebrate Bastille Day in Old Town Park City on Saturday, July 12, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Union Plaza (corner of Heber Ave and Main Street). Hosted by Le Depot Brasserie and Union Patisserie, this family-friendly celebration brings a festive taste of French culture to the mountains—with food, music, games, and more. Join us on the hill for another summer of craft beer, great food, and live music! Taste the flavors of the season at Hops on the Hill, where you’ll sip favorites from local craft breweries and enjoy Chef Zane’s signature pairings—all on the Flagstaff Deck at Stein Eriksen Lodge. This event sells out quickly, so advance reservations are strongly encouraged. The Gin Experience

CUSTOM GIN-MAKING EXPERIENCE: $250 per person for groups of 6-10 participants, plus tax and gratuity, plus $79.99 plus tax per custom bottle of gin produced. As seen in Forbes, Travel+Leisure, Hotels Magazine, Bravo TV, Fox, and many more! Alpine Distilling is currently booking this exclusive, VIP group experience for groups of 6-10, wherein each guest makes one custom-blend 750ml bottle of gin. The initial 2 to 2.5 hours are spent in the Distillers’ Lounge, learning about gin botanical history and selection and creating each guest’s personal botanical blend. Then, our staff spends the next 2.5 hours tending the stills to make your recipe. Guests participate in the botanical selection and may stay during the entire distillation process or depart for dinner on Main Street and return for pickup. The finished spirit will be sealed, labeled, and available for pickup in our retail store before 10 p.m. that night or during lounge hours the next day. The Gin Experience generally begins at 4 p.m., though you may request to start anytime from 2-4 p.m. The fine print: A $100 deposit per person is collected at the time of booking, and the remaining $150 per person is collected seven days out. (Cancellation within 24 hours of the event will result in forfeiture of all payments, as the taxes for your bottles will have already been submitted to the State.) The $79.99 bottle of gin, will be charged upon arrival. Cocktails, beer, wine, nonalcoholic beverages, and snacks are available for purchase throughout the experience. IMPORTANT: You must have between 6 and 10 guests in your group to book. Payment Schedule: Booking Deposit (collected at booking): $100 per person Balance (collected seven days out): $150 per person Onsite: $79.99 plus sales tax
