Dining Out for Christmas in Park City

Dining out in Park City during the holidays is always a magical and tasty experience. This year our local eateries even have some surprises in store! While we are all excited about the Main Street interactive holiday globe exhibit, Butcher’s Chop House & Bar decided to bring that experience to their popular restaurant. Their Alpenglobe is a 360-degree epicurean adventure, where guests can dine under a clear dome. Boasting breathtaking Park City views and high-end eats, Butcher’s Alpenglobe is truly a unique yuletide affair. Reservations open up on December 18, 2020, so mark your calendars. This one-of-a-kind Christmas dining is sure to book out fast!

Flanagan's on Main is offering a special Christmas menu on December 24th and 25th. Dine out and enjoy your choice of appetizers and entrees, including lobster pasta with herbed cream sauce, slow roasted prime rib with garlic smashed potatoes, and more! Their traditional menu of award-winning Irish Fayre is also available. Flanagan's also offers curbside and take out every day of the week from 11am to 9 pm.

Park City’s favorite, Courchevel Bistro, helps you celebrate with their special Le Réveillon de Noël menu. This family-style meal, available on Christmas Eve, will offer French takes on holiday traditions. Expect standouts like salmon en croute, butternut squash bisque with chestnut foam, and decadent, braised short ribs. Courchevel’s exclusive dinner will be available 5:00 pm, priced reasonably at $75 for adults, $25 for children under 12 years of age. We expect them to reserve spots rapidly. From the rustic decor to the fantastic food, Grub Steak is one of Park City's favorite foodie destinations. Dine at Grub Steak this year and create a new Christmas tradition. Start with your choice of wild rice and mushroom soup or baby romaine caesar salad. Feast on rosemary Dijon grilled aged lamb chops. The Deer Valley Grocery~Cafe is offering scrumptious takeaway options for your holiday dinner needs. Choose from entrees, side dishes, cakes, cookies, pies and more. Orders can be easily placed online. Simply order by 3 pm. on Sunday, December 20th and your delicious eats will be ready for curbside pickup before 3 pm. on Wednesday, December 23rd. Delectable Premade Options for an Effortless Christmas

Don’t need a whole meal from your favorite place, but still want some savory sides or decadent desserts to accompany your dinner? There are plenty of opportunities to order premade options, from classic casseroles to apple pies. Windy Ridge Bakery is a Christmas staple, baking up sweet treats, like their Mile High Apple Pie for pick-up before Christmas Day. Riverhorse Provisions will have take-and-bake holiday meal packs. Their premade meals are available now until December 26th and offer everything from turkey to green bean casserole to mashed potatoes.

Hearth and Hill is offering diners curbside pickup on New Year's Eve! You can enjoy award-winning, locally sourced, contemporary American cuisine in the comfort of your own home. The meal feeds up to six diners and includes shrimp cocktail with heirloom cocktail sauce, Wagyu beef sliders, potato pierogies, and more. 

Dine out at Grub Steak, Park City's premier steak house for over 40 years. How does slow roasted strip loin with rosemary demi-glace and jumbo Maine lobster tail sound? Diners can also choose from a variety of starters and sides. Dessert lovers will swoon for Grub Steak's house-made chocolate lava cake and vanilla ice cream with fresh berries.

Kick off the New Year by tuning in to watch the festive Deer Valley Resort Torchlight Parade. The annual event will still take place this season, however viewing it will be a bit different.  To encourage physical distancing, the event will be streamed live and you can watch the event in the comfort of your own home or "home away from home" with your friends or family. Tune in to PCTV on Thursday, December 31, 2020 where you can watch the Torchlight Parade on the hour, every hour, between 6 and 11 p.m. You can also view the parade on Deer Valley Resort’s Facebook page.
