Apline Distilling is proud to unveil the final release of Mountain Moonshine—a 100% corn whiskey, handcrafted by our Founder & Master Distiller, Rob Sergent.

Rooted in Appalachian tradition and refined in the heart of Park City, this small-batch spirit is available exclusively at @alpineparkcity and our Distillery, while supplies last.

Made from a traditional mash of stone-ground cornmeal and cracked corn, Mountain Moonshine is slow-fermented to develop depth and character, then distilled just under 160 proof. The result: a clean, sweet whiskey with a delicate kiss of barrel age—honoring Rob Sergent’s Kentucky roots and dedication to the art of slow craft.

To mark this final batch, Alpine Distilling is launching a curated cocktail collection that celebrates the spirit’s rich heritage and versatility.

Savor these handcrafted cocktails, each featuring our signature Mountain Moonshine:

Smoky Maple Moonshine Fizz
  • 1.5 oz Mountain Moonshine
  • 0.5 oz Alpine Barrel Aged Maple Syrup
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Club soda
  • Garnish: Bourbon-vanilla soaked cherry
  • Method: Shake moonshine, syrup, and
  • bitters with ice.
  • Strain into ice-filled glass.
  • Top with soda, garnish.
Mountain Sangria
  • 3 oz dry red wine
  • 1 oz Mountain Moonshine
  • 0.5 oz cane syrup
  • Orange, lemon slices, diced apple,
  • berries
  • Club soda (splash)
  • Method: Mix liquids. Lightly
  • muddle fruit. Pour over ice,
  • top with club soda. Garnish.

Mountain Old Fashioned
  • 1.5 oz Mountain Moonshin
  • 0.5 oz Alpine Barrel Aged Maple Syrup
  • 3 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Garnish: Orange peel
  • Method: Muddle sugar, bitters in rocks
  • glass. Add ice and moonshine.
  • Stir and garnish.
