The Eating Establishment

Opened in 1972, The Eating Establishment has been a beloved diner to three generations of locals and visitors to Park City. In 2017 it was purchased by a small group of local yahoos and spruced up a bit. And by spruced up we mean we added a bar. Under the guidance of chef Brendan Kawakami, the menu preserves the original spirit of a ‘breakfast all day’ restaurant while adding a few new comfort food elements to round out the day (and night). By adding the bar we’ve been able to bring the craft cocktails of Bar X and as much of the beer list as we could fit from Beer Bar (our sister businesses in Salt Lake City) up the mountain for you all to, hopefully, enjoy. Dig in, drink up!

Our great values, fresh homemade food and friendly staff have made us a favorite of locals and visitors since 1972. Starting a 8 a.m. we serve our hearty breakfasts all day with Huevos Rancheros, Eggs Benedict and Chicken Fried Steak. The lunch menu is available from 11am until 5 p.m. serving classic burgers, Sandwiches, Halibut and Chips, Fish Tacos and Salads. Dinner menu is served at 5 p.m. featuring our award-winning Baby Back Ribs, Fish, Steaks and Pastas.

SWEETBITTER

MIXOLOGIST: Kourtney Tourigny

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Vodka
  • .5 oz Campari
  • .5 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • .5 oz. Simple Syrup
  • 1.5 oz. Fresh Watermelon juice
  • Four Mint Leaves
  • Two Cucumber Wheels

Place all ingredients in a shaker. Muddle cucumber and mint. Add ice and shake. Place two mint leaves in Collin's glass. Strain cocktail into ice filled glass and garnish with mint.
