Culinary classes, intimate wine dinners, lavish brunches, and laid-back community dining events fill the July calendar thanks to members of the Park City Area Restaurant Association. The beloved Savor the Cocktail Contest also returns this month, challenging Park City’s talented mixologists to utilize locally sourced ingredients as they vie to create the best sipper of the season.   

July is filled with so much. Whether they cast a vote in our Savor the Cocktail Contest, take a hands-on cooking class, attend an exclusive wine dinner, or join a weekly community gathering, guests have incredible opportunities to support our local dining community.

Saturday, July 1 – Monday, 31

Sip as many cocktails from participating restaurants as possible and vote online for the summer’s best drink during the month of July. Bartenders and mixologists must use ingredients from at least (2) local Summit County purveyors' original recipes. Winners will receive a $500 cash prize. View entries.

Deer Valley Resort ~ Creative Academy

Seasoned chefs and aspiring foodies alike can choose from a collection of culinary experiences to cook, bake, craft unique cocktails and summer fare, or explore a new cuisine. Sessions are held at the Deer Valley Plaza Building.

Pendry Park City’s Sonoma to Summit County: Donelan Family Wine Dinner

Friday, July 26 | 6 – 9 p.m.

Join an intimate wine dinner featuring a selection of special pours, insight, and storytelling from California winemaker Donelan Family Wines, accompanied by a multi-course dinner at Pendry Park City’s KITA. $375 per person, excluding tax and gratuity, with $50 benefiting the National Ability Center. For another taste, guests can enjoy refreshing, crisp rosés at The Pool House the following afternoon.

Taste of Montage

Friday, July 26 | 6 – 8 p.m.

Embark on a culinary journey through six Montage restaurants with an open bar offering an array of beverages, including wine tastings. Enjoy an evening of gourmet delights and libations to delight the senses. $55 per person. Reservations are required by calling (435) 604-1300.

Join us every Tuesday when Deer Valley lifts stay open until twilight, and pass holders enjoy a $25 select Bier & Bratwurst or Bier & Goldener Stag Burger.

Palomino Weekend Brunch

Saturdays + Sundays | 11:30 a.m.

Ample drink specials include mimosa platters, Bloody Mary boards, and the refreshing watermelon margarita, alongside brunch selections of buttermilk biscuits with house-made sausage gravy, lobster crackers featuring Maine lobster salad and fried Saltines, eggs Benedict, brioche French toast, and a variety of savory sliders.

Stein Eriksen Lodge Sunday Brunch + Summer Picnic Baskets

Indulge in The Glitretind’s famous Sunday Brunch featuring a carving station, hot entrees, a variety of salads and starches, shrimp, sushi, crab claws, salmon, fresh fruit, fresh crêpes station, omelet station, and house-made pastries. $72 Adults, $25 kids 5 – 12 years old. Savor a gourmet Summer Picnic Basket for two ($75) including three courses, utensils, glassware, napkins, and a souvenir tote bag. Goldener Hirsch Foudue for Two

Every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.  

Savor Goldener Hirsch's signature Fondue for two with preferred pricing during our weekend lunch hours. The award-winning restaurant at Goldener Hirsch marries Bavarian specialties with farm-fresh regional fare sourced from local Park City pastures.

Este Pizza Box Concert Series

Fridays | 6 – 9 p.m.

The family-friendly Este Pizza Box Concert Series will feature seasonal pizza specials, including the famous peach pizza, vegan and gluten-free options, and a variety of talented local musicians on the beautiful patio. In case of inclement weather, music will continue indoors. The series will run every Friday through September.
