WITH VALENTINE’S DAY SPECIALS
There is plenty to love about Park City’s dining scene, and member restaurants of the Park City Area Restaurant Association will make it that much sweeter this Valentine’s Day with exclusive offerings and original menus for Cupid’s favorite holiday on Friday, Feb. 14.
Spending Valentine’s Day nestled in the mountains with someone you love can only be made better by adding an incredible meal. Our restaurants will offer one-of-a-kind dining experiences for couples, friends and any other guests looking to celebrate the holiday with good company and unforgettable food.
The following restaurants will be offering exclusive Valentine’s Day specials:
The Alpine Bar
The Alpine Pie Bar is now serving award winning “Lafayette Caramels” crafted by Tandem Chocolates. The Lafayette Caramels are served individually alongside your favorite cocktail or in a four-pack that can hang from a bottle of Lafayette Bourbon. The caramels won Gold, Judge’s Choice and 4 Stars at the International Chocolate Salon.
The Alpine Pie Bar is open everyday from 3 to 10 pm with the Alpine Retail location on Main Street open everyday from 1 to 9 pm selling locally made, award winning craft spirits to complete your Valentine’s Day gift.
The Brass Tag
Delight in The Brass Tag’s prix fixe 3-course menu for two with the option of an additional wine flight.
Deer Valley Grocery~Café
Deer Valley’s gourmet café will offer Valentine’s Day sugar cookies, red velvet 6” cakes and peanut butter mousse desserts Feb. 10 – 14. On Valentine’s Day, guests can enjoy a specially prepared Wagyu beef salad with seared Wagyu beef sirloin, roasted butternut squash, fresh arugula, feta cheese, sunflower seeds and green goddess dressing for $15.75. Small boxes of house-made Macarons will also be available for purchase for a loved one.
Fireside Dining
Cozy up to a crackling fire and enjoy heart-warming dishes such as curried beet ginger soup, poached egg lentil stew, pomegranate and maple glazed duck breast, almond flour dusted trout, veal and wild mushroom stew, fire roasted leg of lamb and seared venison racks. $90 for adults and $30 for children ages 6 – 11. Guests will be sent with a take-home breakfast item package with haute hot chocolate or hot chocolate on a stick.
Grub Steak
Park City’s longtime locals-favorite steakhouse will be serving a delicious three-course prix fixe. The Valentine’s Day menu ($49.75 per person) starts with a choice of hearts of baby romaine Caesar salad, wild rice and mushroom soup, or Grub Steak’s famed 45-item fresh salad bar. Then enjoy New Zealand elk serloin served with grilled pears in raspberry vinigrette with a choise of five sides. To finish it off, enjoy a selection from our dessert tray.
Hearth and Hill
Hearth and Hill will offer the following shareable Valentine’s Day Specials:
Miso Marinated Hamachi Collar: Grilled Coolar, Vegetable Crudite, salad of shoots and tendrils $16
Ahi Tuna Tartare: Preserved Lemon, fresno chile, mint, sesame, olive oil, cracker $18
Lobster roll sliders: FInes Herbs, Lemon, brioche roll $18
The Mariposa
Indulge in four courses of The Mariposa’s Valentine’s Day prix fixe menu. Start with Argentinian red shrimp followed by Gioia Cheese Co. Burrata. Choose from black cod or Idaho Falls Kurobuta Pork for the main course, and close with Moscato D'Anjou for $90 per person. Guests may add a wine flight and will leave with specialty chocolates and flowers.
Powder at Waldorf Astoria Park City
Early Locals Special
With Valentine’s Day falling on the Friday of Presidents weekend, Powder wants to offer a special dining experience for Park City locals. Plan to celebrate your love a bit early on Feb. 12 for a special menu and pricing. Start with swordfish prosciutto and cured salmon and a savory squash-carrot-ginger soup, followed by a Niman Ranch New York skirt steak. End with a decadent flourless chocolate terrine. Dinner is $105 per person, and an additional $45 for specially selected wine pairings. Call 435-647-5566 to book.
On Feb. 14, enjoy a night of Powder’s elegance, beginning with a choice of West Coast oysters, Wagyu beef bavette tatake or organic frisee and mizuna. Drink in the evening with a Champagne intermezzo before moving on to the main course of Chilean sea bass, Colorado lamb loin or Niman Ranch New York steak. Royal Street Café
Deer Valley’s mid-mountain diners can take in a 3-course prix fixe menu and head for home with a packaged hot chocolate on a Stick.
Seafood Buffet
Savor a seafood and sushi experience featuring Deer Valley’s talented chefs who will be providing an educational experience from a sashimi/sushi station in the restaurant using whole fresh fish from Hawaii, New Zealand and Japan including ocean trout, Ora king salmon, hamachi, hiramasa, kanpachi, and shima aji. Chefs will demonstrate and explain the preparation and usage of the whole fish to create sashimi, tataki, poke and maki rolls for guests of Seafood Buffet. The evening is $110 per person, and reservations are recommended.
Squatter's Roadhouse Grill
Has created a special a three course menu for $31, which will include a soup or salad, choice of entrée, and choice of desert.

The first course will be a choice of the Chef’s soup of the day or a choice of the Caesar or House Salad.

The second course will be a choice of Chilean Sea Bass with Parmesan Forbidden Rice or Mongolian Short Ribs with Maple Chili Slaw and Jasmine Rice.
